WHAT ARE LIGHTCODES?

WHAT ARE LIGHTCODES?
Lightcodes are patterns of light and energy that can be expressed in many forms: visual signs, art, symbols, hand and body movements, music and sound. They are not limited to the visual.

Art is one way to make them visible, through color, line, shape and symbol.

Many spiritual traditions describe such patterns as a source of insight and wider awareness. I approach them as an artist, through the language of painting.

LIGHT, INFORMATION AND CONSCIOUSNESS

Light, perception and consciousness open a doorway to experiences that may extend beyond what words can explain or the intellect alone can grasp.

For me, Lightcodes are a way of expressing what may be felt or perceived beyond ordinary language beyond what eyes can see. Through Lightcode Art, I translate intuitive impressions into visual forms, allowing the unseen to become visible.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

I do not begin with preliminary sketches or predetermined compositions. My process is intuitive, allowing each work to unfold in the moment of creation through an evolving interplay of lines, forms, colors, patterns and symbols.

I work with open, receptive attention, and the visual language emerges beyond conscious planning.

Rather than prescribing a particular interpretation, I invite the viewer to experience the work with space for visual perception, personal associations and individual experience.

Each work offers a different encounter. What emerges in that encounter is not something I seek to dictate, but something each viewer is free to discover for themselves.
