ART FOR SPACES
Art in Dialogue with Architecture, Wellbeing & Place
Art can shape the character of a space, influence how it is experienced, and create a lasting connection between an environment and the people who inhabit it.
Yuko Adachi’s artistic practice brings together original paintings, works on paper, Lightcode Art and selected fine-art prints. Her work explores visual expression, perception, geometry and the relationship between art and the spaces around us.
From healthcare and healing environments to luxury hotels, private clubs, wellness retreats, spas and residential interiors, each project begins with an understanding of the space, its purpose and the atmosphere it seeks to create.
Artwork is considered in relation to architecture, scale, colour, light and context, with the aim of creating a thoughtful visual experience rather than simply filling a wall.
ARTWORK & PROJECT POSSIBILITIES
Original paintings, works on paper, selected fine-art prints and commissioned artwork may be considered according to the nature and requirements of each project.
Collaborations with interior designers, architects, art consultants and project teams are welcome. Artwork images, dimensions and relevant details can be provided to support preliminary selections, design presentations and project proposals, subject to availability.
Artwork availability, pricing, commissions, production timelines, framing, shipping and installation arrangements are discussed individually, with the scope and terms of commissioned work agreed in writing before work begins.
A CONSIDERED APPROACH
Every space has its own character, purpose and identity. The process begins with understanding the environment, the intentions behind the project and the experience the client wishes to create.
Whether selecting an existing work or exploring a commission, the aim is to find a meaningful relationship between the artwork, the architecture and the people who will encounter it.
PROJECT ENQUIRIES
If you are considering artwork for a healthcare environment, hospitality or wellness project, residential interior, private collection or design proposal, you are welcome to get in touch.
To help begin the conversation, please share whatever information is available about the space, its location, approximate dimensions, preferred artwork or colours, anticipated timeline and budget, if known.
Initial information need not be final. A brief description of your project and what you hope to achieve is a useful place to start.
Each enquiry is considered individually, with the aim of establishing whether the artwork and the project are well suited to one another.
